Respect for Artists
Here at eBook Dynasty, our collaborations with book artists across the world are based on the following principles:
- Enhance recognition of emerging and established artists through promotion of their visions and qualities.
- Always name the artists who have done the work.
- Pay artists properly, on time, and in accordance with their work progress.
About the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
In order to protect the rights of our artists, and to respect our authors and readers, the following declarations are included in all the works of art published and distributed by eBook Dynasty, including the texts, cover designs and illustrations of our digital and print books, whether they are originally written in the Chinese language or translated from the English language:
- Original Chinese Texts："This Work does not include any text generated with artificial intelligence technologies. Otherwise, text generated with artificial intelligence technologies only accounts for less than 5% of the Work."
- Texts translated from English: "This Work does not include any text translated with artificial intelligence technologies. Otherwise, where a human translator has used artificial intelligence technologies as a tool to assist in the translation, the translation substantially comprises human creation and the human translator has control over, and has reviewed and approved, each word in the translation."
- Cover Designs and Illustrations: "This Work does not include any image, artwork, design and/or other visual elements generated with artificial intelligence technologies. Otherwise, where a human artist has used artificial intelligence technologies as a tool to assist in the creation of artwork for the Work, the human artist has control over the final artwork and the artwork substantially comprises human creation."
Payment Methods
Payments to those artists engaged by eBook Dynasty are calculated in accordance with the nature and significance of each project they are appointed to work on. Where a project is long-term in nature, an artist is frequently appointed, and/or the amount of payment is under USD $100, it is advisable for the artist to set up a PayPal account. PayPal fees are included in eBook Dynasty's payments to artists.
Where those artists engaged by eBook Dynasty are unwilling or unable to set up a PayPal account, they should supply details for international bank transfer. These include full name and address, bank name and address, account number/IBAN, and SWIFT/BIC code. eBook Dynasty takes care of currency conversion and other relevant fees at the sending end, while artists handle the relevant fees charged by intermediary and receiving banks.
