Selected Reviews:
- "A great adventure/spy novel that keeps you engaged right to the last page. There’s ample action that has you racing towards the end, which came too soon for my liking! [The book] presents the characters as products of their time and human nature, a combination of 'the good and noble in man' along with 'a little evil' (especially in the case of war) of which we are all made. It offers a portrait of the inner machinations of recruiting/handling spies and takes the reader through a journey of suspicion, hope, betrayal and undying courage as the characters tell of Angola’s civil strife." ~ Evelin Saxinger, Review on Amazon.com, January 18, 2014
- "This book instantly grabbed my attention from the first fantastic opening scene... Len's writing was flawless, in my opinion. The mix of historical with the dash of artistic license brought the whole rescue operation to life. If only history could be taught like this instead of boring text books!... And man, was the ending good! I love this book. Five stars." ~ Jamie, Review on Amazon.com, November 7, 2014
- "This is a true epic thriller that keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next. A story that's built on the backdrop of the Angola civil war, entwined with the secret services between the CIA, South Africa and other countries. A breathtaking book that excites it's reader to the very last page of the story." ~ CLaw, Review on Amazon.com, November 10, 2013
